I want to start learning to make sigs and I don't really know where to begin. What would be the best thing for me to start out on? Any help is greatly appreciated
There is a thread in the introductions section for beginners. Look at that. As far as getting photoshop (the program almost everyone uses), it costs alot of money to buy. If you want to get it ilegally (most people here have it that way), you are gonna have to figure that out on your own.
Well, I am still a n00b, but I learned on Gimp. It is, imo, more intuitive than Photoshop, but less powerful in some respects. My advice would be to try out the Gimp first, simply because it is free. You can get it at The Gimp Homepage. If you already have Photoshop, simply immersing yourself into the fire and learning the old-fashioned way would be a great idea, but I would avoid spending 700 dollars on a program if you do not know how to use it.
