I've been privately making layouts for awhile now, and someone I know wants to purchase one from me...so.... What is an average price for an average professional looking layout?
The only way to tell you is if you show it to us. Your idea of professional may not be so professional.
depends; custom..or have you already made it and he wants to buy it? I'd say $35 to $50 for a premade, if he wants full rights.

Well if you want a professional one thats really really really really good... then about 2000$ but thats for like company crap.

So really you can not ask others how much to charge for a layout if we do not know the quality of the layout. Post it in the template section, you will get good opinions there, though you may not like all of them.

[/b][/quote] Well I can't do that until I make it, we've agreed that I won't start on it until we agree on a price, so there goes that idea, lol. @EcKo™ - The finished product will already be coded, sliced, etc for him, yes.
oh lol well if you are gonna slice it and code it, then tell him anywhere from $30 - $70 that should be a good price range
