I personally love making vectors....I used to be really good but as I really didn't touch Illustrator in a year and a half, I now need to to practice a ton to get good again.

Anyway, this is one of my faves that I've made recently...

I love how vectors look because they're so clean and neat, and don't have to be really detailed to look nice, plus you can enlarge them as much as you need and not lose any quality. Handy for me when I'm submitting prints to DA.

    (edited cos I can't spell....)

Yeah, there's another version of it too, where I did put in the shadows on the face (and she has a nose), I just liked how this one looks much better.

Brawrrr its all lies. A vector is a shape, an object that can be resized. What vexta has shown you, is known as "cell shading". The only vector in doompatrol, is the backgrounds he is using for the cell shaded figures.

vector is NOT brushes that looks like shapes....vector is usually made using the pen tool or a similar object in a vector based program (ie illustrator or flash)

example of something I made with the pen tool in illustrator...

    http://www.yusuf-osman.com/images/pacman.jpg

^^^----Thats vector because the whole image can be resized without losing quality

The technical definition of vector is a line that is drawn from one point to another, usually forming a shape of some sort, you then can continue to colour and shade accordingly.

All the crap that floats around on this forum (for the most part) isn't vector, just like what you all try to pass of as photo manipulation isn't actual photo manipulation.
