Scientifically, I think, you NEED meat. My friend used to be vegean too, went from carnivore to horbivore and back again. He limited it though. He used to eat meat 3 or 4 times a day, but now its once a day, if that. You need some in your system, but not overly much. There's other things you can do too, vegetarian burgers, peanuts, etc. But meat has the most protein per serving. I've always been a meat eater, I will never change. And alot of animals die fast and painless. Decapitation is a widely used method in my area. If I know of a company that tortures their animals, I refuse to eat that.
pffft yah right. seriously, they don't...I've read a lot of articles about slaughterhouses and they aren't pretty
