You two above here are the ones with 19 and 48 posts. If you really want this place to live, stop whining about this place being dead and make it live by posting.
And for if you didn't know, this is my third account.

It is so sad they just let it go like that. I mean, I have a job and school, (college) but I still make sure I have time to make graphics

I'll admit I dropped out of the tagging site for a long time. Other things in life come up that sometimes we can't help :P However, now that I seem to have the time to do these again I'm really surprised at the changes. NSL is like a ghost town now. SOTW.com has been gone forever (I really miss that site, its where I started). Act One Art is gone though i still talk to the owner from time to time. I still remember places like BrokenEDEN and the other "private" communities. Tagmonkey still exists but it is now mostly a large art forum. Maybe tagging itself has just lost grounds in the online community.

i did that too, for years
but after a while it loses it's charm a bit, you have less time, you don't do graphics as much anymore, you name it

but a lot of regulars always come back, look at maj ffs

Yeah this is true. It was a real incentive to keep posting on a regular basis and I liked how when you created a new topic you get 3 credits instead of just 1. This encourages more discussion and a better, more active community. If GR can somehow re-create the "image" of credits and make them seem valuable again then this place could still work.

Other than adverts, one off membership fees and donations I don't really see how this site is making enough money on a regular basis in order to pay off the bills.
