Its not the fault of the motherboard. It is a fault with the amd memory controller.

your current cpu will be affected, but if you upgrade it to a newer cpu it will work.

yep, have you bought that board yet though? Because I would strongly recommend DFI for overclocking, so would every other overclocker.

there is no such thing as a 6200gt. you mean 6200? if you are I would seriously look into investing in a 6600 vanilia at least because the 6200 runs of system ram.

well i like ABIT's it comes with some nasty software, plus the board is very stable and runs cool. it also comes with another sound card and the uguru is a must. well ill keep looking into it becuase i decided not to get the motherboard this week, im getting the ram this week and then the motherboard for my birthday in august.

an MSI RS480M2, it came stock with my emachines T6412, its actually one of the best micro ATX boards because it has 4 slots for ram and it supports dual chanell, 939 socket, 4 SATA slots, 3 pci, 1 pci-e X16. overall it works well but the bios blows, u cant overclock or do anything.

i already said... im not upgrading gfx card lol, just read the begining page. um i already have a dvd/cd burner but im gonna eventually buy a NEC because the one i have is from an emachines, it dont match my case at all, and it is like done chapped in the front so it sticks out like crap. what im gonna upgared is my RAM to 2 gbs of G-SKILL
