Ok, I'm looking for a good NIC. ( Network Interface Card ) My budget is around 20 $ in USD. I'm going to go to CompUSA or BestBuy tomarrow to get one and I need help finding one. I don't know the differences between them  ..

And I don't care where I get it from either.

It doesn't affect the connection speed? So I could just buy one.

Yep just buy one, some are rated slightly higher than they actually perform. But if its for the net I highly doubt you will use 100mbps.

Linksys is good, I have the one that came on the comp and a linksys in mine. Works good for bridging.

If you can get a 10/100/1000 card. 1000 would allow for gigabit speeds, which if you run on a LAN thats good and fast.
