There are various guns that you should use (and get good at) when you play in cal. First, you should get used to the glock and usb. I have to say usb is one of the best pistols if not the best pistol out there. Compaq is a really good gun as well... most people tend to overlook this. Deagle is good for pubing and gettng your accuracy up. As for automatics, TMP all the way if you got low $$$, if you can afford it, awp is the best (unless you sux0rs with teh awp) and the autosni per is great for mowing down people in a long hallway. M4 and Ak are the medium - short ranged weapons and are used when guarding/planting the in bombsite. Shotgun basically do not have much of a use unless you can aim or your bored (sure ive pwned in cal matches, but its still not that good) Kriegg is a must learn, and I know thazt many people will disagree with me, but if you have good accuracy, enough money, and need to place a bit of cover down, the Machine Gun is a great weapon. The reaseon is you get 100 bullets/clip. Unlike the usualy 30. Steam uses Dynamic pricing now (which can be turned off on servers). Dynamic pricing takes the average price everyone pays in a week and sets that as the new price. Thats why you could go rambo and get nightvision for one dollar.

I pwn with the AK & M4, but ever since the new system of prices for weapons came it, I have been using the kreig 552 or the bullpop or auto shotgun. Best pistol by far is the Deagle.
deagle, awp and ak. people who say awps are for noobs are really the noobs. you don't see CAL kids running around with scouts and mp5s the whole match do you?
krieg = nub aug = ---- AK/M4 USP/Glock maybe a deag if I'm up in cash... I'm good with the mp5 aswell.. and awps aren't for noobs in scrims.. pubs they can be kind of lame depends how to play with it.. and my ESEA allstars will roll any cal O clan
