Actually, teenage love isn't anything near the 'adult' love or w/e.
The teenage crushes is just the lust of having sex, mostly not love.

I personally wouldn't date her. At that age the maturity gap is far to big. When you are older, it is not as much as a factor, but both of you probably haven't even gone all the way through with puberty, it's a big thing.

They're 13 and 11, they don't know what 'love' is, at least in this case.

    PS- No offense.

I agree; it's just a crush now, but to the original poster, I dunno, dude. If you feel it's right to date, then it's right to date, but hopefully, she feels the same. Two years isn't a big deal, but as it was stated before, just... don't do anything. :P

    As my grandfather always said:

"Ben, the smartest thing a guy can do in this life is to get married to a beautiful YOUNG woman. When you're 40 and growing old, she'll be 30 and still be sexy, tehrefore, when you hit the older ages she'll always look young and pretty while you're looking all old and. Believe me, i've learned the hard way."

Heh. Although i do believe there should be limits, but as someone stated earlier, "Age doesn't matter as long as you don't DO anything".

^ That's not as bad though 'cos both of you have reached some level of maturity. I'm not saying you aren't, but the general 13 year old / 11 year old isn't ready for a 'true' relationship. But yeah, what I say doesn't matter really. At the end of the day, it's up to you ^_^

If theres fluff on the muff, then she's old enough.

But considering she's 11, theres probably no fluff. I'd say no to this one dude. However it'd be best if you went out with her now (8th-6th) then being in high school and going out with her (9th-7th)

I think age is important but you can never say "you must be this age to date"

Obviously there is a certain area of age but it depends on your maturity level...

at your age i would say don't do it. for reasons that from what you said you were doing to her, i kinda say that its inappropriate fiddling with an 11yr girl and your 14 isn't cool. For one age is a big issue and 11yr is crossing the line. Shes still practically a child dude ; and she probably hasn't hit puberty yet either. pointing out that her mom is 37 and her dad is 44 to me doesn't mean anything. i mean, my uncle is 49 and my aunt is in her early 30's. It's fine for adults but its not ok for kids to go and do it, its not right and kind of discusting in a way. I can see why your friends would call you a pervert or rapist (It's because of your age!). You should know these things, fiddling around with some 11yr could damage them in a sense that that they will think that their old enough to do what they want. In this case screw around with someone. In my honest opinion i have to say back off, and wait it out. once you get to high school which is approaching very quickly. You will be able to do what you want. It is close to the situation i was in. I was a sophmore and this girl was an 8th grader. (a classmate of one of my best friends) and we talking and everything then it went through my head that im going to be in a difficult situation. For one it will lead to a cause of be attracted to girls that are a lot younger than you which can get you in trouble.

Not much reasoning here, just the fact that you're like, the age of most 8-9th graders, and she's... 11. A little kid, basically. (Pedophilia!)

I think 13 and 11 is kinda a difference for pre-teens but for adults its not as bad. Maturity and puberty is a big part of it.

I know when I was 11-13 I wasn't even thinking about dating yet.

    My boyfriend of 2 years 1 month and 10 days ( I know I'm a dork :P ), he is 18 and I'm 17 so its not that big of a difference.

But really its up to you, do what you feel is right and think about things before you do anything.

there are people who are 30 and up who don't know what love is...in order to know, you must first experience both false and true love. Age doesn't matter when it comes to love, it is just a stupid limitation that "elders" put on crushes that may/could evolve into something more. Do not judge people by their age, character/experience is what determines who we are.
as long as it doesn't go to far (sex, out of the question...groping in certain areas is out of the question) i think it is ok.

sorry, but i don't think the relationship will last until she has finished puberty...might want to just be friends
