What If... God Didn't Exist?

Why would I Waste my time to read a book on evolution? When I know what Evolution is already? There is absolutly NO proof of evolution at all, it's all false assumptions "Evidance" Creationism is not a "religous story" It's Science. But I really wish someone would show me some of this "Proof" that evolution really exists.

Does god exist or not, we don't know. You can only believe.
I want to believe, but my mind tells me it doesn't exist, while my heart wants to believe he does exist. So i'm 50/50 right now.

2/ Your Ignorance astounds me. I may be Atheist but I've looked at the bible, I've read peoples views. Posting something like "Why would I waste my time reading about Evolution" just shows your close minded. There may not be conclusive proof that Evolution is real, but there isn't proof that God/etc.etc. is real.

If your not going to consider other options you have no right to push your own.

Broken I'm the same way. I believe in evolution and I too have the read the bible. I just believed evolution more than I did christianity. I myself found it hard to believe in god, living the life I lived when I was younger.

oh man, this is a new one. so where exactly in the koran shows credible proof for believing in god? i mean the story about the prophet "Mehdi" is the most ludicrous story in the koran.

its a story about the last muslim prophet who died in a well, and muslims around the world actualy believe that he will rise once again and open a global jihad towards the unbelievers of islam.

i was born Iran, and islam is the most bullcrap religion of the three. its the biggest hoax in history because it is an absolute double of the bible and the torat ( however you spell it anyway).

A recent study showed that all the ancestory in the world goes back to a single female in central Africa some 100 thousand years ago. that already beats the bible record for the creation of the universe by 94 thousand years.

We have solid evidence of evolution, but if your going to back up your religion, stop trying to back it up with even more religious books.

As for some who dont know, i was brought up christian. So i know both sides.

This is one reason why i had second thoughts about being christian.

Ok you stated that in the Qu'ran there was proof of God, so now don't try and turn this around on us. Maybe you should show us this proof ethierwise it's just another moot point.

 

Personally I prefer when they refer to books then when they simply state "there IS solid evidence" and promptly forget to show ANY of it...

As for macro/micro evolution I feel you're missing the point. Yes, if you follow the same train of thought from micro evolution macro is possible, the point is that there is little evidence to none for it, whereas there is blatant evidence for micro evolution (just like at the Labradoodle!)

I feel I would be most interested in the method of dating shown here...or in fact any of the study that led to such a conclusion. *sigh*



Tbh I wonder how long it will take before we all get bored of this. There will always be athiests, there will always be creationists yadda yadda both are belief structures and so neither will win out above the other. Not to mention the fact this topic is "What if God didn't Exist" so rather arguing evolution vs creationism, or just plain god vs no god, maybe we should think again on what this is supposedly about?

Well yes, unfortunately you don't seem to know much about hell or God. Hell is the domain of Satan, a creature that, although God created him, is given free will just as we are and used that free will to turn from God. So, by your argument, having free will = hell = god gave us free will = god is bad. So for God to be good we must all be mindless drones :huh:
