    Christians Are Not Sinners.

    Christians Are Saints.

A Sinner is someone who disobeys God constantly everyday and doesn't care about what he/she does.

A Saint who is a Christian saved by Jesus Christ and is FREE from sin. That doesnt mean a Christian won't sin. But Christians dont constantly go out and sin.

There Is SO much more differance.

Reg. I could care less if you hate me, you wouldn't be the first. But I still respect your beliefe even if you disrespect mine.

ROFL You respect my belief but call me a sinner and tell me I am going to hell?

And about the whole all Christians are saints thing. My neighbor attends church everyday and beats his wife regularly. Is he a saint? Oh yea, don't forget his alcoholism and goes on blind stinking drunk rampages. He sins alot but he is a Christian so is he a saint?

You've got to understand that the church and the Bible and the bumper sticker doesn't make the Christian. There are a lot of "churched" people that aren't Christian--they put on the face for Sunday morning and then go back out and live their lives. Quite a few people today do this, and to be honest it's sad that they feel so comfortable in a church, a building that by definition should make someone who doesn't know the Lord tremble in fear. It's sad that non-Christians can thrive in a Christian environment. The blame for that lies both with the person and the church.

You can look at the news and see pastors screwing up with that kind of stuff. I seem to remember one a few months ago that regularly visited a prostitute, lied about it to his congregation, and apparently had a bit of a drug problem. Like I've said, Christians, even these big, supposedly awesome Christians, are not exempt from sin.

He's (Fargo) telling you that you're a sinner and that he thinks you'll go to hell because that's what he sees as the truth. A big, big part of becoming a Christian is recognizing that you're a sinner. I recognize it, and I regret it each and every time I do sin, but that doesn't make me free from it. I don't go out of my way to sin (I think that's what Fargo is getting at with the sinner/saint deal), but that doesn't mean that I won't screw up somewhere along the line. I just happen to ask for forgiveness for those times that I sin.

I never have said you are going to hell did i? Nope, never have said that once in the whole time ive been on this topic. I still can say your a sinner, because you are not saved [so you seem], but i still respect you for not believing what i believe. Just because you attend a church doesn't mean your a Christian, but suppose he is a Christian, and he still has those "addictions" then he hasnt fully given his life to Christ. Does he know what he does is wrong? and is he trying to stop what he is doing or does he keep on doing it.

Life must not be great as a Christian.
Having a set of rules to follow your life by or you get labelled as a "Sinner" by god. Sure, you give your life to Christ, he forgives you....but 1000s of Christians will go out and sin every single day.

Believe what you want, but in the end, we all end up in a coffin under the ground...and no more.

in islam hell is like jail you do your time and go unless you did a really bad thing and you might be in there for ever but not many muslims will be left in hell they will eventually go to heaven

I don't think this debate is going to end.. Whoever discusses and agrees to the concept of the Topic is a sinner, one who can never be forgiven. I don't mean to offend none of you but I should and should say this.

Well Since We Are On The Subject Of "Sin" "Sinner" "Saint" And All Of The Above.

Sin is described in the Bible as transgression of the law of God (1 John 3:4) and rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7; Joshua 1:18).

Through Adam, the inherent inclination to sin entered the human race and human beings became sinners by nature. When Adam sinned, his inner nature was transformed by his sin of rebellion, bringing to him spiritual death and depravity which would be passed on to all who came after him. Humans became sinners not because they sinned, they sinned because they were sinners. This is the condition known as inherited sin. Just as we inherit physical characteristics from our parents, we inherit our sinful natures from Adam. King David lamented this condition of fallen human nature in Psalm 51:5: “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

    Christians CAN Overcome Sin,

The Holy Spirit - One gift that God has given us (His church) to be victorious in Christian living is the Holy Spirit. God contrasts the deeds of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:16-25. In that passage we are called upon to walk in the Spirit. "All believers already possess the Holy Spirit, but this passage tells us that we need to walk in the Spirit, yielding to His control. This means choosing to put "shoe leather" to the Holy Spirit's promptings in our lives rather than following the flesh.

So let the guy have his opinion without arguing against it and shoving your own down your throat.

You do not have to post after everyones opinion in this thread since you WONT change any of them. Seriously, let people live their own life...one post was necessary in this thread.

    Anywho.
This really, should just be closed. Religion topics never end well, divides GR...what have you.
