Yup... But you both are spouting whether it is becoming larger or shrinking. Both sides are gaining support each day so their really is not a definite answer.

god was made up by people just to make them feel like they have some reason to live, and some creator. Because without the "god" theory, then where did we come from? Now that a "big Bang" theory has come out less and less people are believing the myth about "god". Even so how did the big bang come about from -nothing-? There has to be a god, god is only the thing that created us all. The origin to the origination of space.

Just a Question. Why do you think Humans would "create" a God? Who are Superior To Them? who is greater and above all power? Doesn't that seem REALLY silly to you? The Big Bang theory isn't even supported with accurate facts, evidence at all.

That's the point--the Big Bang supposedly comes from nothing. It's saying "first there was nothing, then suddenly there was a huge mass of swirling matter that suddenly exploded, and created the universe." No less of a fairy tale than people claim the Bible to be, only this one does it under the name of "science." You know, the same "science" that "disproves" the existence of God/a god/a guy with a funny hat floating in the clouds? Rather funny if you ask me, but hey, I'm just another one of those ignorant Christians that won't believe the obvious truths that are obviously right in front of me presented in a very obvious form...

I think that he is saying that there has to be a God for the creation of the Universe.

For a reason to obey. A reason to live a good life. And a hope for a life after death.

Humans wanting to obey something? Rather, creating something for the sole purpose of obeying it? People try to live "good lives" without religious beliefs. God, a god, or religion isn't for the purpose of obeying and/or living a good life.

ehh.. well humans created a god because they were curious.. i hope you know that god didn't arise from modern humans either.. the spirtual world developed in early stages of our development... like before the neanderthals were around (which ALSO developed a type of spritual world...)

so clearly you can't say 'why wud they want something more powerful etc etc.' becuz that would be the only thing these primative peoples would be able to come up with with limited resources and only a philosophical outlook on things (which is the ONLY type of 'research' they'd be able to do..')

I do love assumptions being presented as fact.

What have you got to back this up? And if it's so obviously false, don't you think that an advanced civilization like the Greeks or Romans could have shown us that? They're rather ----- on the time scale...

    God doesn't exist.
    I believe it.
It is what I think you can think differently.
