Not trying to be a ------ here, but the Koran hasn't been changed? To my knowledge, it was given to Mohammed via an angel, he had it in his head for a few years, told it to a few people, some people that had it in their heads died, then later on, it was written down. Unless that's a miracle, which I'll admit I have little understanding of what Muslims believe and/or see as miracles. Logic, however, says that between the time passed, retellings, it's changed a bit from what it was when Mohammed recieved it.

Yup, we know there may be some minor changes in The Quran. Mohammed recieved a revelation from an angel telling him to "read" or "recite" depending on how you interpret it. He then recieved revelations and spread the message. Slowly, people started writing this down.

It may not have been changed at all, it may have been changed slightly. Its called faith.

Science cant explain everything and has far too many loopholes, this makes sense. They can exist together.

Also stop being so ignorant. I hate how people ramble on about Christianity only in these threads. We know its obviously flawed. but to each his own, right :)

You can call me close minded but the truth is, God did not create mankind, animals or even the the world we live in. It is we, the mankind who created GOD in an attempt to make everything understandable. I can see how the ppl back then was thinking, "how is this possible?", they were thinking and thinking, but they coulden't come up with anything good, so they basiclly said "there must have been someone who created us", and guess what? they called him "God", God is nothing else but someone made up to get power over ppl, we have seen the church do this since forever, taking taxes and stuff from the ppl, taking money from them while telling the tale about how god made everything.

And the fact that there are actually ppl who blame their faults on god "God made me do it" is ------ing pathetic. Sure ppl can claim "but hey, how do you prove there is NO god then?" morons, there are no proof whatsoever to start belive in something like that from the begining. Also those ppl who want the schools to start teach the bible version of how everything was created, clearly not looking at the facts, that there IS evolution going on, which is another strong proof for a nonexisting god.

Dont ask me how everything was created, because it is beyond human understanding, but so was electricity not too long ago, hell I dont even understand how a computer works, but it doesen't really bother me while still using it. Eventually we will discover enough and we'll see clearly what really happend, it probobly wont happen tomorrow, nor in the very near future, but please give up the crap about telekenesis, god, UFO's and other only fabelexisting things.

In the end, It's all about our imagination and not what we really can see.

sorry about ranting on. but god damn T_T

Somethingcreepy I love how you know absolutely nothing about Christianity. Maybe your talking about the catholic church using money to pay their "traditional" churches of by getting rapes and slaughters. And NO God is not a Man made image, Why would a Human created something greater then himself? wouldn't that seem very silly to you? So I'm guessing you believe In the "theory" of evolution? That has NO facts period. Now creation, i believe. I believe their is a God. I believe Jesus Is The Son of God and My Savior. So does that Mean Your going to slander me?

Just for the sake of playing the Devil's advocate, is evolution proven fact? I see a few loopholes here and there. Also, got any proof as to whether God, a god, or Xenu didn't exist? Anything? I wouldn't be so quick with my dismissals, especially when based on things that don't necessarily conflict with each other.

    Seriously?

If God didn't exist? There would be no Earth, or universe for that matter.

My beliefs? I don't know what to believe anymore.

Woudn't affect me in the slightest, won't believe in Christianity because of the thousands upon thousands of differences between the 4 books in the old/new testament. Different stories of the ressurection, of where Jesus was buried, of what DAY he was buried, it doesn't add up, at all.

Not really considered other religions, except Buddhism.

Either way, overall, the world woudn't be better off. Like said, people would invent something new to believe in.
