Or maybe your body becomes consumed by the Earth and your thoughts just discontinue...Just imagine yourself sleeping...this may also help you get some sleep.
The belief, the faith in something awaiting us afterwards, is what reassures us for passing on. To be hopeful and look forward to something on the other side. Heaven and Hell, where our spirit goes, is all in what you believe in on Earth. Some believe in reincarnation, some believe in heaven and hell based on our sins, etc. It's a never ending answer. Man has evolved among the years in many forms. Whether it be physical, mental or with the abilities that we have accessed. This is where science and religion have ongoing disputes. Cells change, multiply, evolve, but what put the cells there? Yes, we could worry about death, or as many say, we could live for today. Some peoples belief dates back to whichever religion, and some are simply spiritual. Then to the opposite extreme, some just do not believe at all. Since this is a question of "you", I feel I'm in the middle. I'm not religious, nor am I very spiritual, but I don't devote all my beliefs on science either. I hope there's an afterlife. Giving our souls a meaning. There could be someone "from above". But the science of life and it's molecules is what has evolved life to me. The chemistry was written up, and then life was made. Finally, if someone has actually read all of my post, I'm glad.
my thought is, you sit there and rot in the ground, religion is created to explain the unexplainable, i also think that god is not plausible which i have said in the other religious topics, so therefore how would we really do anything after we die?
