About a year ago i was always active here and the forums were always packed with members , offers and requests always had atleast 10 to 20 members in that section (viewing) (posting) , and the same in the auction room!!

Your lucky getting 10 max in both now

What has happened to GR ???

ps. Dont get me wrong its still a great forum , but its not the same as it was a year ago!

How could you be active here if you joined April 08?
Did you make a new account?

People probably stopped coming here as they got older I assume.

    Simple.

Beginning graphics and renders are a thing of the past for a great majority of people actively invested in graphic design. Most websites with the focus GR has had in the past are declining greatly due to lack of interest in the content. That is why GR v4 will have a drive towards something completely different, which will likely drop member activity, but boost community activity (ie those who are here will be active)

I am looking forward to that ;)

Also, it is because there isn't much to do since we only have about 40 - 50 members online, rather than having over 100 - 200 at times.
As per: Most users ever online was 1,319 on Jun 20 2007, 08:18 PM which hasn't gone anywhere since that date...

It all should subside and more activity should take place in the near future when they launch v4

I frequently see 300-500 during daytime hours US side. The thing is, most of them don't post... like at all.

That is true! I live in Cali and sometimes the number goes up that high, but the hardest part of them all is to make them post, which looses everything else. Even though they are mostly here for the tutorials and free things...
Which is still pathetic in a ..well nice / bad sort of way.. If you are here, would it kill you to post once in a day? That is all I ask...

    Right now:
158 user(s) active in the past 60 minutes
Active Users 70 guests, 86 members, 2 anonymous members

Even 1 post a day from each person who visits would greatly increase the activity of the site.

    Indeed, I understand completely.

As I said there is a lack of drive here on the site to continue coming. Our resources are out dated, our members are selfish and never release anything for free, etc.
