including AA and more than 8bit color? bull----.

also the AGP version is a rip off... the PCI-e version is almost half as much, anyone who wastes that much money on technology slated obsolete is retarded.

Did you OC your card and flash it with x850xt bios or something?

Thats the only way it would come near being able to do that?

    To prove you wrong:

There's no way yours would be that much better than mine..This completely maxed out, at full res, gfx and perfomance at maximum...

To end this arguement ... why don't both of you take a screenshot of your settings ... then take a screenshot of your test results.

no ----, you turned soft shadows off... and direct x8 shaders... you're running it on DX7 technology... two generations behind...

trust me when I set CS source to DX6 I get like 500fps insteed of 100-200

someone with a job who wanted approximately double the performance of a single 6600GT... and I'm actually considering selling my entire systemm

for a 10-30% profit... and when I got my card the 7600GTs weren't out otherwise I would have gotten one of those... for the same price you paid for your card...

EDIT: computerkid, I'm sooo sorry, you are right about everything... I can barely play cs1.6... 10fps...(well it sometimes goes up to 40 but mostly 10)

man I wish I was as smart as you and didn't waste the 45% of my paychecks which aren't in the bank...

I think It might be my processor though... everything seemed kind of slow... I mean before i opened the two instances of stress prime and the two instances of superpi it seemed faster but, I don't know...

when your fps is about 27 or lower, that is what lag is started at. if it is stable and higher then like 30, you wont notice much change. but when you are below 25 fps 77%, THERE IS LAG.

and also, we dont know if you're telling the truth or not. you could have taken the test on medium settings, then took screenies of you putting them on high. either way, this bull---- should stop now.

How do you do actually playing at full maxed out with soft shadowing and crap. In the CS:S stress test it said my average would be 30 fps, but i averaged 10ish.

25fps isn't playable... 30fps itself is only barely playable.

one thing though... you will get more playable fps if you unlock the pipelines.

and for the record the CS:S stress test put me at something like 140fps average... I think in game I average about 150-160 so there is some deviation.
