Well, I'm planning on buying a new GFX card for xmas. But I wanted to ask... how do I know which GFX cards are compatible with my computer? There are a bunch of PCEI, AGP, whatever types and I don't know which one fits my computer :x Anyways, if someone can help me with finding out if a GFX card is compatible with my computer and if you know any well priced, good performance video cards please post link to them here So far I've looked at... http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/sea...p?Sku=E145-5142 and http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...p?EdpNo=1642609
Alright, can you answer my other question? And I thought that one was better as well (And better priced when it was still on the site). But there are a few of those 6800 GS on ebay so I might get it
Download CPU-Z. go to the mainboard tab. Take a screenshot and post it here please. THen we can tell you what you can get.
you would need an AGP card then... PCI-e will not work then... try some of these: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...12072&CatId=933 http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...79550&CatId=933 ^I have this one, the FX5500, It works well for me, right price, but I'm sure others will drive you toward more expensive ones.. whats your budget?
$200-350 is my budget Thanks for the help And is AGP good? EDIT: Defuzion can you please help me find a 6800GT that is AGP?
thanks for the creds, Rave-! I can't find any on TD, but i dont know any other canadian sites... just pick some other agp cards that are highly priced by going to: (on the left) Video cards->agp then there are some.
I guess I'm going to have to visit down town toronto again Oh well, atleast I won't have to pay for shipping. If you guys find any good ones on canadian sites, feel free to post it'll be real useful to me
