What Do You Think Is The Most Overated Game?

Not sure about you guys but I hate the Metriod Prime series on Gamecube it's too boring and not my style. What do you guys think?

 

Halo 2, not the first one, but the second one, it was a huge dissappointment

halo 2 heard big things about so much hype b4 it came out and the i played and i was dissapointed

 

I say the Socom series. I don't think theyre that great at all and the online community is a bunch of a--holes

 

Halo2 was DEFINITLY the most overrated game of ALL time.

I personnaly LOVE Halo2, and it's my favorite game of all time. But when I popped that thing into my Xbox, I expected much more. I had this thing since 3 hours after it came out. I was up till 3 AM waiting for it to come out, and it was on a school night. I don't regret doing that at all. But I expected more from the game. Atleast the single player... the multiplayer is unbeatable by any game.

It is by far the best game in history. But it is also the biggest dissapointment. We expected a beyond awesome game to the millionth power. Instead we only got a beyond awesome game to the 10th power.

Does that make sense? lol

GTA : SA in my opinion

 

DOOM 3,it was hyped like hell(no pun intended);but all i've got was just a triggered monsters jumping out of closets and corners,thusfull making it very stale
and Pariah is a big dissapiontment despite being hyped;its nothing but a glorified shooting gallery

 

Any game released to promote a movie i/e spiderman, fantastic four etc etc. such crap shud be criminal to release

 

Im going to agree with Doom3. It was just not nearly as good as it was supposed to be.

I'll add that I've stayed as far away from Xbox as possible, so I dont have Halo2 Thank god.

 

Umm i doubt any other game within 20 years will beat halo 2's online play cause NO OTHER GAME CAN GET NEAR IT. Halo 2 would blow so bad without online play!!! Yea halo 2 was overrated especially when they made it sound like you fought on earth alot but you had like uhhh 2-3 lvls on earth. The missions pretty much blew T.T

 

GTA San Andreas was a let down for me... but I may be alone in that opinion. =S
