    i like the layout of ipb, but vb has alot more features

    anyone that thinks ipb is more secure than vb has been hitting the magic stick to much.

    ipb sucks imo.

    I'ved used all 3 of them.

    I recommend ipb.

    Phpbb - Sux very bad, too many exploits
    Ipb - Awesome mods/skins/alot people use this/
    VBulletin - Has sucky mods, expensive too.

    phpBB is definitely the worst. Its just outdated. Now, for which i like the most. I have to say IPB. I've used it alot more and i'm just more comfortable with it in general. And it has great support.

    vB..more secure? vB still has updated 'free' versions right? Let me tell you a little secret; if it were 'secure' it would be paid. Thats why Invision Power Board is paid; you pay for quality.

    Invision Power Board > vB > phpBB. Invision Power Board has the better modders & layout, though vB does seem to have some wicked skins. phpBB is free, and anyone using it should be shot, or moved to InvisionFree. GameRenders is Invision Power Board, continues to stay with Invision Power Board, take a hint.

    And if ipb is so good. Then why are there no big forums run on ipb?
    It's a proven fact that vb is better. That's why all large forums are run on it.

    I like vbulleting, i think its easier to work with, and just like it better.
    People that say ipb is more secure, just don't know how to secure a site.

    vb is too confusing. IPB is easy to use, has lots of mods and is secure. PHPBB2 is just poor, however you cant complain because its free.

    I've seen a vB board get hacked, but never IPB. Granted, I've never seen the admin cp of vB, but I have used IPB before. I prefer IPB to anything right now, although I'm willing to see it both ways if someone tells me why vB is so great
