time parience and has been said
    practise,

    there is no magic shortcuts
brushes, stock will only help, they arent a shortcut

it all comes back to time, patience and Practise,
and being read to devote alodda time and patience
and to always stick it out.

Remember to experiment as well. Simply messing around in the program can produce some very nice results, and can help develop an individual style.

Resources as stated above only help a little (just building blocks, you have to put them together). It helps if you have imagination/creativity if your trying to be all original (unfortunately that's not something I seem to have).Along with tutorials I've found looking at others psds helps too.The rest is, you guessed it, practice. You can only truly learn technique through practice.
