@ Kratos' post: Limewire is illegal and is also full of viruses... My friend decided to download it ebfore and his computer broke because of it... I tend to avoid that type of thing. :)

Limewire is not illegal, it would be considered illegal if it was suppling the public with unreleased material. In which it doesn't its a p2p program or in other words a file sharing program. There is no harm in sharing songs, hence the reason why it hasn't been shutdown like most other p2p programs. In my opinion its not worth using Limewire.

If some guy has an unreleased song, and puts it up..there you go...you have unreleased songs circulating...

As far as I knew Limewire was illegal, but Limewire [word banned from forum] is not because you pay for it...

if you haven't noticed there are two versions of the program Limewire and Limewire ---. The regular one is free which almost all little kiddies use, and --- you have to pay for if i remember correctly.
    a quote from askdavetaylor.com

"Limewire is not illegal, but I do honestly believe that the majority, if not vast majority, of its users are utilizing the application to distribute and download illegal content onto their computer, be it "cam recordings" of the latest movies, dupes of commercial DVDs, music, or other materials."

do not test me on the subject of p2p programs because in the end you will get bwompd.
