What kind of website making program is used for making sites like this? i.e. Frontpage, Publisher, Dreamweaver. Or did you write the code yourself? I know it would be impossible but I asked anyway.

I want to know how to intergrate a IPB board into a website seamlessly.

Personally I use Dreamweaver for all of my websites.
I fix any code erros by hand though.

actually you cant "seamlessly" integrate. this site isnt really integrated, it is two separate directories with a nav-bar connecting the two and the same colors on the both. that makes the illusion of integration.

    I use:

1stPage 2000 (freeware, check google for "EvrSoft")
Frontpage (when I want to make something extremely quickly)
    Dreamweaver

I code by hand, without using any tutorials or anything for the HTML. I also do not use the tips or tools provided in the programs: I just like how the programs organize the code line-by-line so I can see it easily. 1stPage also colorizes different code.

For PHP, I pretty much use tutorials to install PHP systems. When a problem strikes, I figure out what the error page says and then go and fix the problem by myself without help.

If you need any help, I know 98% of HTML by heart. Feel free to contact me.

Notepad is excellent, its fast, you can have 50 open and everything runs smooth, and I just like it.

On the other hand dreamweaver has code highlighting, autocomplete for html and css, and lets you manage your sites dir structure easily and efficiently.

Coffee cup html editor is also worth a shot, its a very cheap editor with some neat functions and possibility of using plugins for flash, dhtml menus, javascript, etc.. Also has code highlighting. But it isn't as sturdy or stable as macromedias apps.

It all depends actually, in my case when I work on large projects I use dreamweaver, being able to tab all the open files and quickly jump from one to the other is excellent, plus i have my sites folder structure neatly set to the left. Unbeatable...

If I just have to make a quick change, maybe a variable or just add a couple of lines of code I always use notepad. Same if its just a small project, notepad is my choice...

    c-ya! and happy holidays everyone!!
