Web Templates

    I want to make a web template, but what size should i put in photoshop? AND does anyone have any tips about template making?

    Erm try 800x600 its pretty universal... if u dont like that try 1024x768

    k, isn't 1024x768 a resolution? as is 800x600?

    exactly.. 800 x 600 is the smallest resolution so if u make a template with the size 800 x 600 then its guaranteed to fit on a whole page for someone using that resolution.. but i use 900 x 750 or something..

    for tips, if it will be ur first time then you should really take some tutorials because it might be hard for your first

    you need to find a regualr webpages size, use a prog like front page to find out then make it in PS :)

    I don't want it to scroll, would that be 800x600?

    yeah i guess 800 x 600 would work.. try a little smaller than that just to be safe.. but also, there is something you can add in the <body> tag that will make the page not scroll and it will remove the scrollbar

    I would size it smaller, to compensate for the space the browser takes up. This differs though on IE, FIREFOX, OPERA...

    As an average i usually go 60px or 100px less height then the resolution of the screen

    do you know the code? It would be DHTML wouldn't it? I'm gonna search some sites that i know for it, but could you post the code if you know it? ty.

    <body scroll="no">

    just make sure you got that and the scrollbar will be gone

    when i use Iframes, it has a boarder: [​IMG]

    could anyone tell me how to get rid of it?? or a different code?
