* Should we have a sub section for Graphic Clans, and if so; what requirements should be set for a clan to get their own forums. Yes, you should. The requirements should be like a certain number of referrals, some credits (a store item perhaps), and that they must have approval from one of the admins, and also the members of that clan must have x amount of posts per week/month.

* If yes to the above, should Clans get their own user groups if they reach a certain amount of active members, or certain other special rights? No, i think that a regular subforum is enough.

* What sort of items would you like to see in the store? Be realistic, and think of good prices. Would this item be something you would buy, is it realistic in terms of what GameRenders can offer, etc Clan subforms, psds, and ooo resources like brushes and styles!

* The current GameRenders forum layout: like it or it needs to be changed? If so, what sort of sections or changes would you like to see I like it, the skin is getting a little tiring but keep the layout.

* Tournaments: Should GameRenders hold monthly, smaller tournaments...or larger, tournaments that span over several months? A good mix would be nice, like one monthly tournament and every now and then a larger tournament

* Should GameRender members get a vote in Sig of the Week? If so, how do you think this should be done. I don't think they should, however maybe some more SOTW judges?
* Are you looking forward to GameRenders Version 2? Of course i am!

Yep 2.0 is a great idea.

 

I think that we should be able to vote for the SOTW, but you have to have like 200 posts or something, because then people who enter SOTW might make multiple accounts to vote for themselves, and dont tell me that 1 account per ip, there's ways of getting around that


Also, I think there should be a Non-Gaming Premium Render section.

I'm only going to comment on 1 thing right now, and that's the question of "Should GameRenders members get a vote in SOTW?" I say no because on a lot of forums I see SOTW that do this, it is a popularity contest mostly, but if you only have Mods/Admins or however you guys do it, it gives a equal chance to everyone.

We would only need three judges.

Whoever wins the public voting round gets 2 points. Each judge vote counts as one point. This way, the public cannot completely decide the winner. The only problem with it is that you have to search for people who have proven graphics expertise who can judge. But that's how it goes.

why? theres hate voting...theres n00b voting..theres spam voting..i say leave it up to the mods..if you dont like who the voted for..then stick it up your ass...just forget bout it

also the graphics clan section doesnt seem too bad tho...KEEP A LIMIT. like only 3 clans or 5 no more than 5 then there will be too many :/

No. Graphic clans usually do not work right and seem to only cause trouble. I think its a bad idea

I like it pretty well the way it is now, i cant see much that i would change so i think it should stay fairly similar. If a little gets changed i wont be mad or anything.

Smaller monthy tourneys. I personally havent been to big on long lasting ones, they seem to go on forever and people get bored with them.

No. Would be a bad idea in my opinion. Although the Staff are only human, i think they try to stay away from favoritisim which many members wouldnt do.
Also, im not sure how you would go about counting up 50,000 votes for 150+ signatures each week. And we would need rounds and eliminate some each round and it would be chaos.
Maybe a set Judges group could work though. Maybe ranging of about 20 members or so.

Of course. IPB 2.0.4 is a lot better and has more to offer.

tags work, I would also like to see some kind of sections for troubled people looking for good advice.

I beleive GR should hold monthly tournaments, but, so it isn't unfair, what you do is make an entry thread then make teams and they battle together and people must post 5 of their best sigs and you grade them from 1-5 then put them in teams from 5-10 and yeah, have rounds.

I don't know much about graphic clans, it sounds like a good idea to meet new friends and stuff. I don't really know about it so I can't really comment. I don't think however these members should have things other members don't, I'd like to see GR stay fair.
I'd like to see a custom image under one's name (like the Premium Member image) for purchase in the shop, or included in Premium Membership. I think the forum layout is fine, works well for me. I don't think members should have a vote in SOTW, just because it'll probaly turn into a popularity contest. Yes I am looking forward to V2, it will be a good change, and maybe a fresh start for many new and great things here at GameRenders.
