Keep the layout the way it is. If you want, chnage the colour. I dont know why, but the GR;s forum has the only layout that makes me wanna stay. i think the other forums have too birght colors in their forum skin (like all silver etc etc).

 

Should we have a sub section for Graphic Clans, and if so; what requirements should be set for a clan to get their own forums.
If yes to the above, should Clans get their own user groups if they reach a certain amount of active members, or certain other special rights?
What sort of items would you like to see in the store? Be realistic, and think of good prices. Would this item be something you would buy, is it realistic in terms of what GameRenders can offer, etc

Clan - No. It'll cause people to seperate from each other and lead to large flame wars.

- SOTW PSD File is there to download? Only if agreed by the creator. Price 300 Credz? 150 Goes to the member, 150 goes to GR.

- A Sub-Home page? Like they're a new forum, where members who've Purchased the item gets to make one thread in the new where they sort of like have a "gallery" of all they're work. They could post they're work there and include logs in the thread which members would be able to view and etc. - Price - 1, 000 Credz?

SOTW - No.

Tournaments - Small ones - a lot of them. And please VARIATE THEM. Sigs, Logos, smileys, renders, banners, brush sets, tutorials. - I'd like to see tournaments which are not just about banners, logos and etc. As the resource guyz need some of the light!! :lol:

GR V2 - To an extent yes.

 

i dont kow if this has been posted but you should add an adult section so kids dont acidentally come acros some semi nude sigs etc

yes definitely--maybe they can have forums if they win a certain # of battles or something

I think that would be a pretty cool idea. If not, still whatever you can have it in your avatar

Just a thought, maybe instead of posts, you have to buy access to premium renders, or render gallery

It's a good layout, maybe a few things can be added but nothing major.

I think smaller tournaments would be better

No. there are too many complaints about battles being voted badly, and sotw would make it even worse.

graphic clan yes ....... and we need to increase our credits by 2 for premium memebers ^_^

 

we have had graphics clans on my site since we opened, we havent really done much with them yet, we are waiting a little bit. when we thought of this idea, we had never seen it done before. we created some great rules, gave people clan tips and we make them run the teams through staff to allow them to have the clan. i encourage you guys to check that out, i will talk to you (BFTP) on msn about something. i really like the clan idea. we also plan to use the clans for arcade battles, poker games etc. like i said we havent done anything with clans as of now, so dont expect too much. its pretty cool though.

 

I think for the sotw, there should be a thing like the battle stats, showing wins, but no losses, that'd be a pain for loses. No trophies though, people like MT would have like 30 trophies , it'd take up too much space

 

First off I think its good that are asking for feedback this should make V2 the best that it can possibly be. Okay let me address each one of the things you asked for

* YEAH!! That would be so cool and would draw even more attention to GR. As for requirements each clan leader should have a rep higher than 1 and make a poll that would ask the community if they think that person would make a good clan leader.
** I think each clan starts off with a leader and than different levels of the clan. Kind of like in Halo 2. However I think that we should have a whole forum dedicated to clans. Then have sub categories in that forum that will be like GFX, PC games, Xbox, etc so members can easily locate a clan best for them. Than in those sub-forums there will be other sub-sub-forums were each clan will have a forum and that is where people can chat and talk about their clan. If that is confusing let me help by making somewhat of a visual.

Clan Forums (major forum displayed on homepage)--->Sub-forums (Xbox, GFX, etc.)--->sub sub forum (this is where each clan discussions will be and then it would act like a regular forum where people can create posts and reply and all that stuff)

I hope that helps I also think that the leaders should have complete control over there forum, such as password protected, make up user groups and be able to change peoples levels in there clan.
*** I think tone thing that I would really like to see would be like a get your own IPB forum. That would be really cool and I think would be really popular. Now an IPB forum is like 40 bucks not cheap so I think the credit amount should be high but at least people have something really worth wild to save up for.
**** Nope I think its fine however having a actual gallery that works and allows people to upload and download from it would be good.
***** Well I think they should, the main problem we run into is people coming to Gamerenders and either don’t know anything about GFX and just randomly voting or people create multiple accounts and just vote for there own. The best way to goa bout this is set limits. Have like a minimum post limit.

Its fine this way I've seen better from the skin designer though.

IMO yes, i think that it would be nice to have a GFX clan Section.

I dont think graphic clans should get thier own subforum. This will lead to a less active "general" forum, since many of the most talented are in such clans and will have their own little world in the subforum were you couldnt get the mix between noob and pro that helps people to envolve...
