Look, I really thought are crew was doin hella good, and saw we was all confident and ---- about how r crew waws doin compareed to other crews. Wen i saw the bc challenge, i was like oh yea i we got a chance to shine. but then looking at the results, we basically get killed. im not sayn this crew sucks and tht we gonna give up. im sayn tht we rly should start focusing on improving. so i was talkn wit shady and we came up with a little sumthing. We thought that we could all vote on teh top five of thiscrew, the top five artist. then, wen they r chosen, a thread is posted with their stuff and examps. then each of the top 5 take a fifth of the remaining crew, and give them mayjor crackdown cnc and ---- so we can all improve. wen we all similarly skilled,, we improve together. the only we can get this to work is tht we need everyones cooperation and activity, and loyalty, DONT CREW HOP. this is a suggestion, but shady and i think it would b rly effective if we improved altogether, thisll show we r a rl team. i guess dats all. maybe some opinions?
I love it, it could definitely work. I'm all up for it. I will say I was also disappointed with the battle of BC but I believe they enter as a theme since I believe they mostly entered vexels/vectors. I think the next time we do a battle it'll be better for us to choose a theme that way it doesn't look like a bunch of random signatures opposed to signatures that are following the same theme and compliment eachother.
imo you guys are making a way to big of a deal with the battle against BC ... just because we lost doesn't mean we haven't improved yet, and it's only a battle, and it was our fault because we lost .. no one really got involved with the battle, that was our mistake we could have made alot of awesome sigs in that battle .. look, we can help each other on improving but if someone doesn't really get involved with everything then it becomes ALOT more dificult to help each other on improving everyone has to be willing to improve .. i hope you guys understand the point i'm making and also .. don't get dissapointed in a way to Zero Gravity when other people say ..." the crew i'm in is the best " or " you guys lost against BC with 10-0 , your crew sucks " ignore all of that .. i didn't made this crew to be the best crew on GR .. although it would be nice to be , but it's last on my list all i want is a friendly crew who helps everyone with improving and improve by theirself
kovan,im not pissed at all at the battle cause in my mind that wasnt the best out of our crew,the point is to make people all engage and experience some of the tricks/effects to make them better,thats all depends if they have the will to improve,its a way to spread some new styles over to people
no offense to anybody but i think that idea isnt really that good.. sry im juz not feeling the part of voting and picking few members and asking em to teach.. and Kovan i think u said it well.. if we wanna be the best out there.. we gotta earn it and time is something that we have to bare..
all boild down to practise, some have the spare time to make 20x tags a wek some only 1-2 we all have our own pace to learn at. and i prefer to mess around and make mistakes, seem to pick it up faster by the mistakes we make and learning how to correct em....
I won't leave zG. I could care less if we are not the best. I'd rather have fun, doing graphics design as a hobby. I don't care if we lose, as long as we had fun. Its not like we're getting payed to beat people. It would be nice to make a good name for ourselves, but that doesn't mean everything.
guys, this crew is only on for like a month .. and i can safely say we are the most active crew on GR , we have 20 members .. and improving doesn't come to fast, it happens very slowly .. and dragon is right some have a different pace and improve much faster because they make alot of sigs in a week and some only make 1-2 in a week .. we can't all improve the same way, or the fastest way in the end it comes down to the person who wants to improve or not .. if he wants he will get involved in everything .. he will keep making sigs he will learn from the mistakes he made, he will learn from the CnC and tbh, i truly don't like this idea to much .. seriously if you have the will to improve you WILL improve.. no matter what and if you don't have the will to improve you shall never improve .. it all comes down to the person who wants to improve or not so just have the patience, patience is also good when trying to improve .. don't rush yourself, don't think of improving to much cause then you won't focus on anything else just try to have fun when making sigs ..
yea, ^^^^ that happened to me. maybe like a year ago, i was really terrible at making signatures, and i tried really hard to improve, and i took on everything at once, and i just kept getting more junk, but then i took a break from tags for a bit, and started taking it 1 step at a time, and over a couple of weeks/months i got way better without even noticing it
