okay, xbox360 is a next gen system but what i meant by PURE gen is that there is nothing new or special then an upgrade of a processor and graphics, i say that ps3 is a pure next gen console because of its new never been seen processor that developers as you said has hard time making games, doesn't that make it special? :lol: B) but who knows what ps3 games will looks like unless we see it or play it. its not the next gen because of its new processor ONLY , havent u read the reviews?? all the stuff about the new technology of the ps3??? IT IS THE NEXT GEN i was just waiting for a trailer for the game strangehold to load , and i saw a man , it was odd , i thought it was a real picture or something , thin i played the trailer and it was part of the game :blink: :blink:
He was referring to Generation talking about the Xbox 360. Both systems are next generation consoles. Both have new hardware, procossors etc. So give up the fight of only one being next generation. But Generation I understand what you say and was just trying to clarify for Shotakn Tiger As for the quality of graphics on each system, Armored Core 4 is being release on both Xbox 360 and PS3. Check out this page on IGN, it has a video to both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game. Both trailers are said to be possible on each system (not pre-rendered) watch them, and decide for yourself.
I actually was not that impressed. I look at some videos for say......Peter Jacksons King Kong for the 360 and then look at UT2007 and King kong looks really alot better. A MGS4 just looks like Splinter Cell Chaos theory. Also i read somewhere that they are having problems with the processer and the graphics cards working together so its screwing the graphics capabilitys up a bit, it looks like they have loads of power but havn't used it right.
But does any system get all of its resources used right from the start? Programmers have brand new technology to work with and it will take some time to learn what they can do, the limits, and what works best. So right now, you shouldn't be seeing absolulty mind-blowing graphics or simulations. Give the system a year or two of life and then you'll start to see amazing things coming from both the PS3 and 360.
haha , ign just keeps trying to make the ps3 look bad , the ps3 trailer is the trailer of the game on the old hardware (alpha kit) , while the xbox 360 one is on its new hardware , and the ps3 trailer is old this is the old hardware for the ps3 wich was used on that trailer:- and this is the final hardware for the ps3:- ign is gay and allways trying to make the ps3 look bad , that trailer for the ps3 was on the old hardware , not the new one
How was the Armored Core 4 video in any way making the PS3 look crappy? Both videos were amazing and very similar in quality.
yea well everyone should know that that ps3 trailer isnt the real performance of the ps3 , cuz its on the old hardware , the final hardware is a million times better
well maybe xbox360 runs just as the computer does, and IN MY OPINION i dont think its not that very special. seeing just improved processor power and graphics isn't proving enough to make it a PURE 100% "next-gen" console. I think Ps3 should be something special and considered to be a next gen because of all the things that it can do... its just that powerful and blown many people away. plus that processor is really something. instead of what 360 has, its just as regular processor but running 3.2 ghz each. what makes it special about that? cell is something that has nothing related to any other processors in the world. plus sony said that they tried to make something that no one has seen anything before, and they did showed us something different. Im not saying it sucks, its good, but not great. plus we only know half of what ps3 can do, when it finally launches we will know everything of what is capable of.
You cant say that it doesnt. 7 Possible Players PER-SYSTEM, with Advanced Wi-Fi Communications In-House. Compare it to Xbox Live, and the 4 Controller Limit.....Well just have to see when the PS3 Comes out. I dont know about anyone else, but I would rather wait longer for the release than spend $400+ on a piece of buggy crap.
