On paper. On paper the PS2 was supposed to be 733 MHZ - as fast as the Xbox. It was a third of the speed.
Stop posting this everywhere. It's still a ----ing boomerang. We all knew this. We just hate the way it looks.
Though about posting and then decided you all were idiots. Both are very nice so.... Get them both and play them both.

ye...2 places sure does sound like everywhere...if i were 2 post this everywhere id post it in every 360 thread.....idiot....and i mead a thread for it 2 get more attention...more ppl atleast look at it like that....and if u read the fkin descriptions maybe ull no why itz shaped like that
I hate threads like this but I always feel the want to post. The systems (Revolution, 360, PS3) are different thus they are going to have different features appeal to different people. Could you imagine a world where we only have one company developing one game console? With the lack of competition the advances in the system would be less frequent and smaller jumps in technology because people wanting to play games have only one product to buy. So the PS3/360/Revolution may be better in your mind; overall, one system is not superior to the others overall. The first thing this post had me do was read up on Blu-ray and HD-DVD discs because I did not know the differences and what they meant. After doing some research and reading about the disc types a bit more I'm more looking forward to the Blu-ray disc. I want to see what Game developers do with the extra space, whether games are single or dual-layered on the disc. After reading a few articles I found one that explained the different discs best, and also introduced me to HVD. Check out Softpedia for more info and read the comments! As for specs on systems, it was proven with the original Xbox that just because the system is superior spec wise, does not mean it'll be the top seller. The PS3 is more powerful, it has also been stated that it will be more difficult to make games for like soldier91 said. The cell processor, because it is new technology has a steep learning curve that makes programming games mire difficult then on the 360. (Talked about by Id Software's Todd Hollenshead and Wired I can't wait to hook-up to TV's side-by-side to one PS3 and either play an 8 player game off of one system, or have one game run on two TV's. As odd a spec this is, it excites me to no end the things you could do with two TV's hooked up to one system if game(s) take advantage of it. The Xbox 360 appeals to me because I enjoy the online community. I enjoy having the ability to compete with people around the world from my living room. Live was an easy interface on the Xbox and even easier on the 360 now that it is uniform across games. Anyways, this post is long enough. If you're interested, read what game developers have to say about the systems here.
I've played 360, so I know what I'm talking about when I say PS3 is going to be the best. Although PS3 was announced before or at the same time as Xbox? Right, at least they didn't steal the concepts of having a completely buggy console.

exactly..finally ppl who get it
I do understand it. But I just don't like it. It looks ok but I just like the 360 controller. And both companies designed the controller for the player, Sony isn't so special.
yes , it shall dominate all the next-gen console in terms of technology. I was just so shocked by looking at the official specs. Blu-Ray and stuff .... Xbox is just something so much copied from a PC. Almost every game in the Xbox is on the PC except Halo and Ninja Gaiden. it'd be better playing Quake 4 on a powerful PC. Thats the reason I disliked the Xbox but not hated it.
xbox360 is not so special...a good pc is just as good as xbox360, so its not pure next gen. ps3 most likely be next gen because of its new hardware new specs awsome graphics blue-ray etc etc.
