Risk Your Life is a good free MMORPG, it was originally designed to be P2P but no one did so its free now. Clicky!
My favorite free online game is GunZ online. It requires a lot of time and effort to get good though.
I'd say GunZ and Ragnarok Online (Private Servers sadly). I'm neutral on everything thing else because, I didn't like them that much...
Although this isn't free and its not an mmorpg, get Counter Strike Source. #1 game hands down. Its fun and addicting. I got it 2 years ago and im still fragging...
I think that Guild Wars is one of the best investments i have ever made. sure they cost a bit of money, but its amazing game play and fun. you would really enjoy it. But a free game i have been playing lately that you control a ragdoll karate fighter and make him move and attack the person against you is called Toribash. Its really a fun game, with all sorts of mods and settings, great active nice forum. good place. check it out at TORIBASH's website
I saw a lot of people say silkroad but don't bother that game sucks. It has terriable management and you can't ever log on due to server traffic which is people botting their chars. It depends on what kind of games your into that helps me list what you might like to play. If your into RPG type games Flyff is a good game {google that} Warrock is a good FPS
RuneScape is alright, for free. It has a lot of things that you can easily spend years on, go ahead. J a c K
from Hilary Goldstein Mass Effect is a fantastic game and one of my favorite RPGs I have ever played -- and I've played a lot of RPGs. The role-playing aspects really are second to none. In fact, this is one of the rare games where it seemed as if I was truly playing a role and where I felt the impact of my decisions. Playing the role of a renegade is no easy task, because it brings some moments as jarring as the very best the TV show 24 has ever offered. You really do act as Jack Bauer in space. If only the combat, which is a significant part of Mass Effect, held up as strongly. As much as I'd like to look past the bugs and bad AI, it makes a significant impact. Some of the issues are simply unacceptable for a game of such high caliber, which has been in the cooker for a long time. This is, however, an RPG first and a shooter second. So as long as you are coming for the role-playing experience, it should be easy enough to look past the problems with the combat system. Mass Effect is full of memorable characters and experiences. It's the best RPG available so far on 360
Runescape is okay for Free playing, Just the players are all noobs and are idiots. I play members personally but i've played for a while. Give it a try, It can get addicting. [I do have a social life btw >.> =P]
