Do the Ferris Bueller trick... Tell you parents your ill, lick your hands and show them... But I had to go to school by bus (and later car), so it wasn't a real problem. Just leave before or go somewhere else. An btw. That's not true. I made my "Abitur" (germany) without any problems. I don't know what It is, maybe like high school in the US. It's only a problem, if you wag too much.
Maybe I don't really get the joke because I'm german but the thing is not how much time you are at school but what you make with your time there. If you are there half of the regular time and have a's and no problems... Why change? Btw: I'm at university, so maybe I'm not that dumb like you think !
Wake up from the bed feeling extremely sleepy, walk into the bathroom, sit on the toilet bowl and continue sleeping. If they ever yell, just tell them your stomach is not feeling all that good.
