Tbh, the smudging could've looked better at a higher strength. This one looked too smooth and doesn't blend in with the focal's rather high-contrasted look. Background is empty, and that's a no-no definitely for me. Maybe, red with some minor effects and just a tad big effect (C4D render, probably) that would actually give that War mood would work way, way better than just black. Sharpen that text too, and move it a towards the focal a bit. Compo needs a bit of work, too. Move it a bit to the right (or left. I was talking about the first version). Either way, I really love the flow and focal presentation, and also lighting. You've really improved, Hoplite.
