The second and third are my favorite but both of them seem to be lacking effects.

Thanks guys, and yeah I usually mess up my effects so my sigs are usually simple. I got to learn how to keep a good flow and all of that.

    For both? =o

well for the first one i like the background on it more but that kind of sig doesnt look like it needs that kind of bg it looks like it needs a more graphical one and the other one I see what you were trying to get at but it just seems to bright kinda blends to much with your effects and idk I'm not a fan of stock photo backgrounds like those I like more graphical.. Brushes, filters, blurs, smudges, pen tooling etc

    but they are decent

    They're both way too minimalistic.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I never really knew how to make good graphical sigs :( . So I always tried to go for realism. I'd be lucky to have more than 15 layers on a sig lol. Thanks for the comments.

hmm check out the tutorial section, and buy some sigs from the paid tutorials.. if you really need i can send you like 20 credits or something for you to buy a tut that might help you with your background of your choice..

http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=390010 (free tut by me simple and short might help you with some bg)

http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=390954 (a tut by icekream might help you out a bit)

http://fc58.deviantart.com/fs36/f/2008/281...c.png(sometimes start out with a stock with a render in it and smudge the bg and work from there)

just a few that could help :)
