    The look is the only difference really, cept for a few others. But Im sticking with XP till more apps are combatible with vista.

    o yea, vista also has that nasty DRM deally

    and as long as tahts alive, vista will be dead to me :fistshake:

    And besides, the new look features, like Windows Flip 3D and Live Thumbnails, arent actually new, theyre all in a mac atm anyway.

    you also realize anyone who uses firewire also wont get support for it. M$ said its "unpopular" and wont be available until a service pack comes out

    umm it wont go down in price for a while i meen xp has been out for about 4 years now and is still only £10 $20 cheaper and ista is out so you waiting for price drop dont bother u will be waiting along time...

    Every one is criticising it saying oh its this and that its just out yeah there will be issues there is with most software... mac is nice but im windows FTW

    the price will drop as soon as vienna (blackcomb) enters its final stages of beta testing.

    Got something in the mail yesterday from Dell. Said if you bought a Dell computer with in a certain time period you get Vista Home Premium free which I think it s a good buy just need 10.50$ for S&H but either way it is better then 150$-200$.
