K I wanna take a screeny from this commercial (movie format .avi)... but it's a very hmm precise moment... and virtual dub does take screens... but I can't fast forward and it gets seriously annoying when I keep having to repeat the beginning parts until I get to the part I want (then being 1 sec or less of)... is there any program you know of that I can fast forward in and take screenies? k thanks

Cant u just use WMP to speed it up at first then slow it down when u get to ur part..and use the normal print screen to take a snapshot..

or does that not work with .avi

i tested what you said cause i wanted to take a SS of a movie scene too. when i pasted the SS into Photoshop, all i got was the WMP outline, and a black box where the movie was playing. so my guess is that Micro$oft has some stupid protector thing so you can't do that! :censored:

Open it in Windows Movie Maker and when your at the right bit, pause and press this button below the preview part.

Commercial? Precise part? sounds like porn to me. Just kidding. I think you're set with what you got.

well, try what he said^ if not then u can just download a screenshot program since microsoft probly has a protector type of thing on it..

If what he did didnt work let me know and I'll look for a program quick if you want it.
