fraps works pretty well, if you buy it you will get a higher quality image though.

Camtasia Studio is good, though it creates quite large file sizes. And its quite expensive. They have a trial, though, so you could make a few.

camtasia won't work for ---- with ingame use, it doesn't take enough screen captures...

the only acceptable program I know of though would be fraps...

Some times games have the ability to make demos (1.6 in particular.) In CS 1.6, you can make a demo, then later on go back and watch it. It is saved as a .dem, which no media player will play. Then they give you the option that while you are watching the demo, you go 'startmovie moviename framerate' and then, say you set the fps to 30, it will take 30 screenshots per second. It gets pretty large in size because they are saved as .bmp. Then you get a program called 'Video-Mach' and what that program does is put together a collection of pictures, and makes the movie with each frame that you recorded from your demo. I do not know if BF: 2 has such a thing, as i do not have it.

Depends how good your computer is... I can get Camtasia to record about 300fps when playing BF: 2... How fast do you need, lol?

For xbox I guess. Captured Card. Google.com. Go crazy.

Camtasia Studio is good, I use it, it also comes with a slew of extra programs for editing, etc.

Its default rate is quite slow, but you can set it as high as you want - it doen't match the rate you put, always, but it makes it go high. Set its frame rate to 1000 when you're not doing much and it does like 700 ^_^.
