Video Card Issues

Alright, well I have a Power Color Radeon x800 and I don't know if it would be the video-card, but when I turn it on, there is vertical stripes of scrabled color.

I cannot see anything, so I cannot do anything.

Anyone have any idea what to do / the cause?

Did you try to overclock it? It might just be faulty. Does it have the stripe when you enable onboard video.

 

I never tried without the vid card, becuase I am not 100% sure if every mobo has onboard video.

But no, I didn't try to overclock, and it was working fine for about 3 weeks.

 

are you sure that its your card? sounds more like a monitor prob..

try to check for bent pins on your monitor connector.

 

I am using the monitor right now. It's working perfectly fine.

 

is it still under waranty? might want to rma it...

 

Well, I am just wanting to know if it is that video card, 100%. Ya know? Does anyone know of anything else that can cause this?
