    Render:

I'm told her name is Jenosa Arma from the game Scurge: Hive.

And this is bugging me... when I check the image against a black and then a white background at 100%, then 200% zoom, nothing weird shows up (white lines, choppiness, etc). Then when I host my render on photobucket and post it here, they do. Could any give some advice?

Try zooming in a lot and look closely for white lines and remove them.

If those white lines weren't there then it would look pretty good.

Yeah, use the pen tool and cut closer to the edge of your pic. when you have it done, place a new layer underneath it and fill hat with black.
Then you can check if it has an outline and then you can fix things up ;)

I doubt photobucket was the problem, but you can try uploading the render on bayimg.org or imageshack.us, anyway.

    What Penguin said.

Either way, I commend you for making a decent cut on an ----- level render on an early try.

You may also want to try previewing over red and blue background in Photoshop if you haven't done so already, and I heavliy recommend using the Pen (paths) tool to make your selections. This will make your job much easier once you learn to use it and will yield better results.

Good luck with rendering and I hope to see more of your work in the future. :)

    EDIT:

Err, why is i.n.t.e.r.m.e.d.i.a.t.e being censored in my second paragraph?

Yeah, I went through the same thing, Sometimes when I can't find the white lines which is pretty difficult I just usually post the render in my signature or something and view a post, screen shot, and just follow through cutting while looking at the screen shot. But anyways, it shows you a lot of things you missed, You kind of become more,.. eh, well, I dunno, accustomed to not doing that again.

    But good try anyways.
