My Mom smokes as well. ;( I read a good way to stop smoking is to find a hobby or somehting to do. If you can manage this and not smoke for like 5 days, you've quit! Just don't become re-addicted and start it up again. ^_^

    support your mom
u cant jus give up like that its hard best thing to do is if she feels the need to smoke a cig and it gets bad tell her to have part of one to take away the craving and it will not be as bad and eventually she will cut back and stop
its like taking a childs toys away

That sucks, but support her in giving up. It's not like this is the end of her being able to give up, she just made a mistake.

quiting to encourage her to stop smoking is out of the question. She is your mom, you do not let her slowly kill herself without any opposition

Quiting smoking once you've been exposed and addicted is very hard. She can't do it without support or a strong will to do it herself.
