Plz dont -rep or +rep or add creds to me i didnt make this and dont deserve anything for it jus wanted u guys to see how to vector properly ^_^
    Well it here it goes:
plz come back to these tips if u are having trouble.

    TIP #1
It's best to vector whatever's "on top" so for this vector, Jessica's hair is on top of her face and eyes, so it's easiest just to do it first. If there was an arm w/ a bracelet on, you'd vector the bracelet before the arm... get it?

    TIP #2
Choose a posterize level which works for the photo. It's different for each picture. In general I'd say usually 7-12 is the bestest.

    TIP #3
Colors are the major headache for a lot of beginners. I did not do so well with my colors for the face on the finished product I did, but yeah. Anyways, Pick a color, pretty bright is good. If it's too unsaturated, the vector will turn out pretty dingy. After you pick your first color, you want the rest of them to BLENDDDD. Do not pick colors that are really extremely differnet from one another for someone's face. Does a person's face contain black white peach and brown in real life? NO. So don't vector them that way. Choose a color, then gradually get lighter/darker as needed. You should barely be able to tell the difference between them.
If U wuld like the photo i use to vector in this tut plz use this
    Code:
    http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b9/Braders2005/Alba.jpg
This is the picture i used for all u Alba Lovers

Right here it goes for real:
    1.First Select "Pen" Too
2.In the top left hand corner of your screen make sure that "Create New Shape Layer" is selected. FORGET THIS & YOU'RE SCRWED!l
3.Open an image you want to vector. I've choosen Jessica Alba
4.Start with the Hair. WHY? See tip #1 ZOOM IN ABOUT 200 PERCENT
    5.Choose Image >> Adjust >> Posterize Adjust the /tutorials/PS/images accordingly (SEE Tip#2). I chosen 6 Levels.
6.Select the pen tool. Then starting with the lightest part of the hari being to outline by making a "point" (Click to make a point)
7.Make another point at the bottom of light area and then hover over the line somewhere until a plus sign appears
8.Click so that a new point appears in the middle.
9.Then Hold down CTRL on the keyboard and left click on the dot. Drag it to create a smooth curve.
10.Repeat by adding another dot and dragging it down, so it follows the shape of the light part of the hair.
11.Add and drag until you have competely outlined the hair.
12.Then click on the background layer so that it is selected.
13.Vector all the light parts of the hair. You may even need to zoom in even more to do the details. Remember to click on the background layer each time you begin an outline.
14.Next vector the next shade/darkness of her hair.
15.When finished hide the background layer to look at your hair. It should look something like this, but if it doesn't that's okay. Just move on. It will come with practice as you do more and more vector.
it should look like this now
    [IMG]
16.Now move onto the eye. ZOOM IN A LOT!!!! Vector the white reflection/shine/glint in the eye (if there is one) I like to do the eyes lips and nose without using posterize.
17.Next vector the pupil using the click add and drag method from before. Next vector the iris and the white of the eye.
18.Next give her some eyeliner. If u dont want to put it on her then dont but i think that now eyeliner and no eyelashes on girl vectors makes them look ugly. u can do this in exactly the same way as all the other parts u have done ( if ur confused).
19.Does yours look like this? If it doesn't start fresh and try agen.
20.After the eyes move onto the lips.I Completely Suck at lips but u will see in the final product that minor stuff ups dont ruin the entire thing.
21.Next, the dreaded nose. You can do it this way and make lines by the eye. Or you can posterize and vectorized over the line they choose for you
22.make a copy of your image and posterize yet again. I chose 12 levels this time.
23.Then follow the guide posterize gives you. To choose color see tip #3.
24.Finish the face either by vectoring it over the posterize guide OR by doing it by the eye. (DOING IT BY THE EYE IS RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS!) So here is the finished product.

    Drumroll Plz..........
    Its the attached image Guys
