It appears the database has messed up and all the most in the past week or two have now gone.

So I'll post what i can remember:

    Stage 3:

    Work to be completed
    - Gradient Overlay in navigation bar Completed
    - Login Box & Stats Box Completed
    - Tidy up main navigation bar Critical
    - Sort out top navigation/URL Affilicates Critical
    - Full set of icons to be used for the forum Main ones more critical than full
    - Footer & Notices Comes standard with many things - not high priorites but will be done
    - Lorem ipsum [Putting in some forums/categorys to show what it will look liek] Critical
    - Unflatten and give the site some texture Critical
    - Border - Basic HTML - CSS Background Critical

    Work i might do
    - Splash page [Just a nice design maybe provide a little brief on it as like you would for a small story]
    - Web-template [A template to work with the skin - same style and colour scheme]
    - Code the template into vBulletin 3 [See the template in action]
    - Maybe animate the banner in some

I do rely on your support so please give me advice, comments & feedback please. Bad critism is Constructive Criticsm. Slagging is not helpful.

    Regards,
    Ryan

Thats what i've started working on:
The blue (Read Topic) icon i feel is near on perfect for the skin
But the Brownish (Un-Read Topic) icon is not as close comapred to the read one. I tried to bring in the "deserty red/orange" colour from the header into play to stop the blue controlling the site, i think i need to work on the Bevel on that.

Just an slight update but the earlier you see the changes the earlier i can be notified of problems. It also helps me to see myself when its put up in the IE7 (My internet browser) of how its going.

    Regards,
    Ryan

    p.s. C+C Please

Its good so far, the only thing I can say is not to use those icons, sorry but they kinda look horrible. The rest is good though.

The only thing I would say is make it a bit more "glossy" or change the colors up some...

but still, better than I can do ;)

Hey ppl - thanx for reply's.
Yes i think your right about the gloss,
So what i've deceided is to render around the top part of Liberty's crown and the plane. It will then allow me to get a better colour match with a nice gloss.

I've not done much work since, but what i have done is done a full set of Icons. I'll post an s/shot of them later on, but imho i think they are pretty saweet.

    Will update soon :)
