Vacation Reply Virus Hotmail

Hello people, one of my friend is having a problem with their Hotmail email account that whenever someone emails them, a reply from their email is recieved saying the following:

DO NOT CLICK OR OPEN THE URL in the QUOTES.

Can someone please post a solution to this virus? Any information on the former would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for earliest reponse. I'm not hit by this but I've seen a couple of contacts in my list having this problem and would like to know how they can fix this.

 

I think you just did.

 

It's called an autoresponder, tell your friend to look in his settings and turn it off. Then change his password.

I am not infected, I don't do such mistakes.. He is a bit n00bish with the Internet, but yeah I'll try to tell him that. Thanks.
