first of all i dunno if the title is correct, but please read quik to my story so i hope u understand it than ok so i play a mmorpg, on the internet, however i may not install it on my computer so i need to put it on cd so i can play. if i put in the disk, i should have to be able to play, but however when i click the icon, it gives an error that it could connect to the GameGuard server ( gameguard is a program against hacks, u need for the program ) maybe its something with my firewall, idk, but when i copy all the files in my documents and i click the icon everything works fine, so i wonder, what do i have to do if i wanna play the game without putting it every time in my documents ? ? well maybe sounds a little complicated, might ne simple solution, im sorry i cant spare u creds if u solve, cuz im saving for my friend. but i promise if u help me, ill love you, ( only if ur girl, im not gay, ok ?) oh yes this is how i got the files on the cd, i downloaded and burned everything on it, so its not like a cd, you can buy or something, ( like cod, cs, halo etc. )
IS this a game you must pay for? ai noticed you said you downloaded the game and burned it. What game are you trying to play, would help to know what we are dealing with. Is there a reason you dont want to install it on your machine locally?
shouldnt you do something like make a virtual disk of your cd using a free program like alcohol100%?? I think that might do it
sounds like some one wants to play at school put it on a thumbdrive, then move it to your documents when you wanna play the back when your done.
ok ok ty for the fast replys, so here's some answers. The game is called MapleStory, its totally free to play. I can't install it on my hard drive cuz im not allowed to play and my dad will notice cuz hes computer specialist. ok so Explo!t u said something about making a virtual disk of your cd using a free program , i dont quit get what u mean, please explain me what a virtual disk is and what that program does, and are u also sure its 100 % spyware free? if you can't save the game onto your computer, making a virutal cd would be no use because its burning the cd onto your hardrive so you can play without the cd. alcohol 120% and dameon tools both make virtual cds. The anti hack program that you need you should probably put on the cd too if you haven't already, that way you can play everthing off the cd.
it IS already on the cd: its automatically, when u download maplestory, than u download automatically the anti hack program, its already in the maplestory folder, and if there's like a patch or something than it just installs the new updates into that map ( patch for anti hack program ) still dont get what a virtual disk is, could some please explain ?
