Since I havent seen any sticky of this I thought it would be nice of all of you to know how to make a animation flash user banner.

Thank you EddieD and other that had made the banners or tried, here we go!

First you need to open up ImageReady

Once you have opened it, go to file-open then open each banner that you want animated.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/open.jpg

When you opened all of the banners you want, select one of them, go to select->all then edit->copy then the banner you selected will be copied.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/copy.jpg

Now go to file->new and put it at 350x20 pixels

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/new.jpg

Once you open it, make a new layer then go to edit->paste and the image that you put in was your copied banner.

Now, here is the tricky part.

Make a new layer on the new file you created with the pasted image. Then go to a banner that you didnt copy yet. Copy the image, and paste it into layer 2 like shown.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/layer2.jpg

Now, keep on making new layers and copying other banners that you want it.

After you did that it should look something like this.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/alllayers.jpg

    Now, for the animation part.

Duplicate your first animation to how many layers you have, for me its 4.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgS...ationlayers.jpg

Now once you have done that, click the second animation, like so.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgS...ndanimation.jpg

When you did that, look to ur last layer, click the eye so it wont appear, when you did that, you see another banner besides the one you had before you clicked the eye to make it disappear. A picture below will show you.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgS...sesecondeye.jpg

Once you did that, go to ur third animation, once you did that, click both the last layer and second to last layer eye, which will make it disappear.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgS...raselasteye.jpg

Do the same, as I did through all of your banners so, click the eye next to the layer, ABOVE the one you want to NOT show, so if you have 6 banners, and your on layer 1, (you go by ur LAST layer not your first) you would click the eye for, layer 6, layer 5, layer 4, layer 3, and layer 2. Which will show layer 1's banner.

Once you did that for all of your banners on the animation, Under the banner on the animation view, it will say 0 seconds, click the first animation and hold shift and click the last animation, that will highlight them all.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/highlight.jpg

One you have highlighted it, click on 0 seconds and it will list the seconds you want the image to stay, I would put it at 1 or 2 seconds if you want it to go by a little slow so the person would be able to read it.
I set mine at 1 second.

Once you did that, you will be able to click the > button to play it, unhighlight the animations so it will play. Your animation time will be set without it highlighted. When you see it play and you are satisfied go up top and look for a OPTIMIZE tab, an Image will be shown for you if you cant find it.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/optimize.jpg

Set exactly what I have if you want the graphics to be good. Once you have done that, go to file->Save Optimized As..

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/TgSAero/saveas.jpg

Then when you saved it, (AS GIF) Open it on your computer or upload it to a site and see how it is, it should turn out like this

this tut's been out for a while on and off of GR, i have a shop where i do it for people, and you make it seem a lot harder than i do it, and the way i do it is probably harder than other ways.

    open imageready
    new>350x19
    open banners you want
    Ctrl+A>Ctrl+C
go to the new file you made
Ctrl+V (it creates it's own new layer)
    do this with every banner
click the carrot in the top right on animation window
    make frames from layers
click the carrot again>select all frames
click 0.0 sec on one and adjust it (it adjusts all)

and you're done, no need to do the four layers of each
not trying to insult you, just saying, it's a lot easier than you say

anyways, i was kind of disappointed when i actually looked at the tut, not your fault, but i've had it as a favorite for a few days and haven't gotten to read it, and the whole time, i thought it was a tut on how to make the banners themselves, not how to make them, one of those would be nice
