User Accounts

My little Nethpew completely :censored: my computer by dling a virus, Now ive set up accounts, passworded my account and made one for him
So, how do you stop Certain User accounts opening Certain folders and Programs

Like Stop User C from opening LimeWire or uTorrent

Also, it is possable to make it so, On one account you have a skin from windows blinds while on other you have Basic Windows Xp one

 

when you install certain programs, it says 'settings for anyone who uses this computer' or 'for this account'

or something to that.

I can't remember what the :censored: it is... I'll look around...

I have lots of stuff on my computer already though, it would take too long to uninstall just to reinstall everything, plus i need to learn how to Block him from opening things such as Program files or Windows file

no prob. half the battle was remembering what it is called...

you can also password protect the windows and program files folders. I'll find a link to do that, too, or just look on google for it.

I gotta get going..

 

i tryed looking for a password protector when i started saving my Game Design project for school, all i could get was programs that cost money though, is there an Inbult thing you can use?

 

oh, nevermind, that was for personal folders, not system folders...

you can give him a limited account, where he can't install programs, and you could also set up a quota on the c drive, so he cannot download anything that has a virus or spyware in it..
