Well, my computer doesn't even recognize that i have usb ports. I can charge my ipod, but not use my USB headphones. It doens't even list the universal serial bus (or w/e its called) in the device manager or w/e you check....

I already dled the drivers, but if any one has any other suggestions PLEASE tell me.

Thanks, i'll pay credits. like, hundreds. thanks.

Check for driver downloads, also there are different types of USB ports. 1.2 and 2.0 maybe? Not sure but there are different versions of USB Ports. I had the same problem just a few minutes ago and needed to download a driver.

In the device manager, look under "Univsersal serial bus controllers" (if its there) and tell us what you see

Are these extra USB ports that you added via an expansion card? OR are these built onto the motherboard? If they are built onto the motherboard they would be near your audio and ethernet ports and near the printer port.

If it is an expansion card, bear the bottom of the case, you could possibly need a driver for the card.
( To find out what kind of card it is, take the side of the case of and see if the card has a name on it, then google for the drivers)

If they are built onto the motherboard, you can google for the drivers from the manufacturers site.

If neither one of these work, you might be able to go and get an expansion card to add in for a reasonable price and you can add 4 ports real easy.
