I just install my new Nvidia GeForce 5500, (all the drivers) using the quick installation guide. I rebooted my pc and the taskbar won't show up. I've looked at technical support on the site, I've changed the theme but it just isn't showing up. Also, not all my desktop icons are showing up either. Can someone help?
Do ctrl+alt+delete and then when Task Manager comes up, click on File>New Task(Run..) and then type explorer.exe in the box, and click OK. Not sure if it'll work.
Not quite sure what the problem is but make sure the taskbar isn't set to auto-hide. Also, since it's a new vid, perhaps the desktop is stretched too far, therefore the bar is of the screen? Play around with the monitor settings, see if that helps.
It's def not that the taskbar has gone past the monitor, since i've been adjusting it for ages. How do I set the taskbar off auto-hide? Merged Post: Bump. This is important.
Okay, excuse the fact I got it in Japanese at the moment.. Hit alt+ctrl+del > File > Run... > Explorer.exe this should come up: (Explorer) Then click on "My Computer" Then go to this: (Control Panel) Click on properties: Then it will be in there.
Do this... when you are on your desktop... check if you even have a start bar... on your keyboard press the "Windows" key.
AKW i always thought you were american or something....or if you are smooth control panel going on there Oh yes free bump.
