if you can get a mac then don't but if you can't then atleast run dual boot and have linux, no excuse not to.
What is a good linux distro for someone who pretty much only needs PS CS2(maybe lower, and my CS2 would be legal) a decent music program and all the other basics(firefox, open office and most othres have convinient linux forms) atleast a 1024*768 screen resolution and is looking for a decent gui with little hacking and coding... I am thinking debian but am unsure... when I say little I mean moderate and realize it would take a lot mroe than just installing WINE to use photoshop
you pay to get the extras, I'm currently running Mandriva and it's quite good, my friend knows tons about linux and he's able to fix most of my problems lucky me :lol: Another thing I like is that it comes with practically every program you need so you don't need to download anything to do certain stuff eg. burning, ftp, msn, java etc..
