I am currently running a P4 3.0 ghz with 512 DDR ram and wanted to know if I would notice a significant difference upgrading the ram to 1024mb.

    Any help is appreciated. :)

I was wondering in general; if I would notice a difference in the upgrade. I don't do any hard core gaming or anything on it, maybe some Soilder of Fortune or Warcraft 3 from time to time but nothing more serious than that.

I have been doing some small video editing with Adobe Premiere recently, and uhh I use PS CS2 as well. :)

If you are not doing anything hardcore gaming. Maybe i i think that there is no need to upgrade your ram, since 512 ddr is good enough =)

I upgraded from around 500 to around 700, and in Cinema 4d, MAJOR difference.

I think if you don't play gaming and don't use imaging software, 512 is the optimum level of RAM for you.

I had 512 MB. Photoshop lagged as my grandmothers arse.
Now I got 1 GB, and soon getting my other card. So 2 GB.

    And now. It doesnt lag!

(Also, it does the actions faster.)
