Uncontrollable Nosebleeds

Stop sniffing cocaine. Actually if you stick a piece of paper under your lip or something its supposed to stop the bleeding or something.
Some doctor told me that.

 

I get those a lot, usually in the fall. Don't ask me why. Anway, what I do is:
Pinch my nose ABOVE the nostrils. Pinching below will only store it up.
Tilt you head back SLIGHTY.
Wait for a minutre or to doing that, then let go and see if it's still bleeding. Usually it'll take days for a strong clot to form, so don't agitate it. After it's stopped bleeding and you've let go, breathe slowly through your nose for a while.

 

I used to get long ones that last awhile as well...
My mum got me some herbs from the doctors.. Then I boiled and drank them.. Yuck. But hey, it worked >_<

I don't get choked when I tilt my head back.. :\

 

I don't feel like reading all the posts to see if this was said already, but basically just apply pressure to the place the blood is coming out. It works for pretty much everything else, I'm assuming it'll work for this too.

Personally i'd go to a doctor unless someone on here is a doctor i wouldn't take there opinon to seriously on a medical issue.

 

Happened to me all the time, just before I go to bed I rub some vick's vapor rub under my nose.

and it probably wouldnt be that painful, they would make it as painless as they could and it would probably be done with one shot of a laser sorta thing nowadays. Technologys improved so much.

well, i suggest to stop picking your nose. if this is a problem, then cut your nails before picking your nose.

using ice on your nose helps freeze it or w/e, so thats all good. also yes, tilting ur head back makes all the blood go thrhough ur nose, then goes into your throat, doesn't exactly choke you, but it isn't a nice feeling (well, i guess i stated that as a fact, it could choke you, but i doubt it)

 

Used to happen to me tons when I was in primary school. My parents and I went to the doctor and got my nose cortorised (spelling?). Anyway, it seals the gap where the blood comes out in your nose. Since then I didn't have anose bleed for 2 years.

I think it was something with burning the gap or blood vessels together.

 

You got on my bad side in the past. Hell I probably forget what it was for but you're stuck on the bad side now and that's how it shall remain.
