well guys my birthday tommorow (26th) :tongue: got a quadbike for my bday costing £1350 or $1838 :lol: the first thing i do is race my cousins quad down a hill B) his quad has around 4 or 5 grand (GBP) worth of aftermarket racing parts in his so, were racing down the hill on the very first time i was on it :tongue: at the bottom of the hill there was a corner so here i am 50 mph on a brand new atv and me being a retard presses the accelertor instead of the break in a panic -_- <_< i then slid out of control, slid 40 feet then hit a tree breaking my quads front suspension and throwing me over the handlebars if i didnt have a helmet on id probably be eating through a straw right now <_< . just though id let ya'll know tbh i thought it was quite funny although im dreading the repair bill
Damn that sucks mate. Don't worry I have had a similar experience with my Suzuki GS500F and it was a bad call back then and always will be whenever I ride my motorbike. To cut the story shot, I got hit by a fuel tanker (from the side) going at 50MPH on the highway (central expressway). It was a bad experience as I broke my left leg (but it healed) and if I didn't have a helmet on you wouldn't see me posting this. It was about two years ago...I haven't ridden a bike since then..but thinking of buying a new one out since i'm out of that deadly trauma.. It'll get better soon.. Happy Birthday Mate
